Omar Apollo - Ashamed

Omar Apollo is an interesting case and most notably has an amazing angle being first generation Mexican, breaking out as a solo artist. Apollo grew up listening to the Beatles tremendously as child, he also paid close attention to Mexican artists, like Pedro Infante and a lot of Vicente Fernandez. His songs have that immense soulful, psychedelically singer style to them and Omar has received plenty of success in Spotify already being Play listed. He toured around the country when he first released his EP, Stereo, which indeed was a bilingual homemade Psych-pop. His brand new album "Friends" takes it to the next level with the same components with psychedelic-pop/ soulful sounds that circulated the entire album in a breeze.
